I have recently obtained a beacon and set up a beacon at my minecraft base and I want to be able to see it from afar. It turns out that when walking just about 64 blocks away (out of its effect radius) it just disappeared. This is disappointing since I have never had a beacon in a survival world before. I'm not sure whether it's to do with loaded chunks or render distance but all of my render distances are at maximum.
