When I try to log into minecraft with the new luncher I cant. The Error that is coming up is Could not log in: Cannot contact authentication server

What I expected to happen was when i pressed "Play" i would Be able to go and play minecraft
I thought i would be able to log in

What actually happened was i couldn't and it came up with a message Could not log in: Cannot contact authentication server
A Window Poped up and it said "could not log in" It gave my the option of pressing "okay" or pressing "Forgot Password" And In the Development Console It comes up with a message "Could not log in: Cannot contact authentication server"
