Minecraft Crashing on Startup/World Load- "Failed to write core dump" error

      What I expected to happen was...:
      Logged on to play the game, and selected world.

      What actually happened was...:
      Game crashed before the world loaded. I was brought back to the launcher and an error message was produced on the launcher.

      This has been happening for a while now. I used to be able to run as administrator, and it would work fie, but that work around no longer works after the latest update to Minecraft 1.9. also used to be able to load the world prior to the crash, but since the update I can no longer get as far as I used to be able to.

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Log in
      2. Select or create new world
      3. Game crashes to launcher before the world loads.
