I searched for "Sound Gui" and found a lot of reports which describe the same issue I have. BUT all of them are resolved.

I'm playing the version 1.8.8 and everytime after I'm closing a GUI that includes a sound like the CHEST or the DOOR and closing a second GUI a short time after the first one the sound of the first GUI get repeated.

Example:
open chest -> close chest -> hear the sound of closing chest -> open furnace -> close furnace -> hear the sound of closing chest again
