Minecraft launcher doesn't give online option. It crashes when I want to open my world

      What I expected to happen was...:
      To have the option of online playing. Even when I press offline game, the world should start loading.

      *What actually happened was...
      The only option to play is offline. When I click on my world, it says an error has occurred and doesn't let me open it.
