Put in reverse, Always Day is only available for Creative mode.

But wait!!! If you change game modes survival to creative all of the items in your inventory will be lost (but strangely your armor stays!). I strongly recommend throwing everything into a chest before toggling survival to creative to check this out in a world you care about.

I'll again resolve this ticket, and if there's still no Always Day button when in Creative mode comment again and I'll re-reopen 8^P
</comment>

You have to create the world quit to title, click the pencil button right of the worldname (edit world button) and you will see the always day option in there. Comment again if it's missing.
</comment>
