<comment id="232052" author="aman4700" created="Tue, 23 Jun 2015 21:09:38 +0200"  >
Confirmed on Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Android 5.0 Version: 0.11.1

Explanation: If you are in creative and you fly to as low as you can (or fall), and then you change it to survival, it will list it as killed by falling from a high place other than killed by void. If you are in survival though and you jump through bedrock, it will say killed by void.
</comment>
                            <comment id="230490" author="illidicia" created="Tue, 9 Jun 2015 23:33:03 +0200"  >
For all those are commenting on this: as in the Computer Edition, creative mode players should not be killed by void damage. This report concerns primarily the solid platform inflicting damage in survival.
</comment>
                            <comment id="229933" author="minendegu" created="Sat, 6 Jun 2015 17:09:57 +0200"  >
In Creative Mode you can fly under the bedrock level and don't die, as you should. If you go down enough, there will be a level of invisible blocks you can't destroy (I think it is invisible bedrock) on which you can walk. So there isn't generated a false death message, you die, because you hit the blocks too hard. Next, you just see the bedrock level, and you can't see the generated structures, as in earlier versions.
</comment>
                            <comment id="229894" author="5tr4" created="Sat, 6 Jun 2015 14:07:48 +0200"  >
Interestingly it displays the correct message if you go in the void on low hearts. I think they implemented void damage instead of instant death from void. They failed to do this to c mode. And it is slower than falling. These results found from superflat making 10 ways to die (0.11.0 added changing gamemode of world) when doing way 2 void. It showed correct death message from low hearts from way 1 fall damage then doing way 2.
</comment>
                            <comment id="229882" author="5tr4" created="Sat, 6 Jun 2015 13:59:13 +0200"  >
It is this , you take void damage in survival , but you fall faster than the void kills you. If you go in in creative , you survive. If you go in in survival with low hearts , it displays the correct death message but the death isn't instant.
</comment>
