This feature was added since 0.9.0. I think this works as intended.&lt;/p&gt;</comment>

Adding context and detail is very helpful in all bug reports so they can be confirmed.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Can you describe the environment in which this happens? I.e. 1 square of carpet, lots of carpet, carpet adjacent to blocks, chest, furnace, door, etc.  Are there blocks above the carpet? and if so, at what height. I presume you are in 1st person view, not 3rd.  Fancy graphics? How are you moving onto or off of the carpet? Are there circumstances where this change in Field-Of-View glitch does not happen when moving on/off of the carpet?&lt;/p&gt;</comment>
