Note 3

When you place sand on top of a vine, it falls through it and destroys the vine. It is hard to explain so look at the pics below.

I was going to make a cacti farm using SethBlings tutorial on MindCrack Season 4, but when i tried it on Pocket Edition, it didn't work. Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4DEZU1jzdY. Concept should be about at 30 Seconds in.
</comment>

If you disagree, please add a comment below to explain what you expected to happen. For example, did you expect the sand to stay on top of the vines? Did you expect the vines to pop off as an item when the block came to rest over the vines? Remember, Pocket Edition and Minecraft PC are not intended to be the same in all ways.

As another related test, if you stack three blocks of dirt vertically placing a vine on the middle block, then place sand/red sand/gravel on the block above the vine a few things happen:
1) When the sand/redsand/gravel block is placed, its bottom texture has vines applied to it (as expected)
2) When that block begins to fall, the bottom returns to its normal texture without vines (as expected)
3) The block falls past the vines on the middle block without affecting the vines (as expected)
4) The block comes to rest below the vines (as expected)
</comment>
