I'm running v1.2.0 on iOS 10.x. Max render distance has been reduced/is still reduced to 6 chunks. I'm interested to hear if this is a bug, or if it's some restriction they had to put in place to accommodate all of the various devices. Agree with Nathan that we should be allowed to choose whatever distance our device can handle, at least in single-player mode. And even in MP mode, I'm not sure how the render distance of my device affects the other players. Maybe I can see farther, but...so?
</comment>

They are also not designed to be considered a fininished product.
</comment>

I just bought a new iPad with a render distance of 24 chunks. After updating it was only 14, the next time I logged on it was 6. That is unbelievable! For multiplayer I understand. But for single player it should be whatever your device can handle.
</comment>
