Hi,

Since the last update for PE its very laggy and slow in my world now, it seems to skip every so often and makes it quite frustrating to play. Have turned off fancy graphics and beautiful skies but its the same. I have a samsung s5 and was running smooth. Any ideas please? Thanks.

It's only happening when playing old saved worlds. When creating new generated world, lag is not present.

It seems that the lag is present when loading new chunk, then the game is unplayable for 2-3 seconds.
</comment>
                            <comment id="387092" author="theskytype" created="Tue, 6 Jun 2017 02:05:11 +0200"  >
I am having the same exact issue! I just reported it! It makes the game so frustrating to play, I have turned my render distance and everything down, I have killed all entities, and it has still gave me an incredible lag, I even redownloaded the game, I hope this gets fixed in 1.1.1!
</comment>
                            <comment id="387091" author="morgwenna" created="Tue, 6 Jun 2017 02:00:56 +0200"  >
Francesca, I found that a hard reboot of my iPad helped considerably. Still laggy but not as frustrating as before.
</comment>

I noticed when you load your world it comes up with syncing to server which it never did before wonder if its anything to do with that. Hopefully if its an issue itll be resolved soon. Thansk for your comments
</comment>

If my world ever does render then I have found that the block updates are extremely slow in that there is a noticeable lag between, for example, removing a block and it to be rendered as removed and then I am left with a dark hole, if in a cave, and another noticeable time lag before the lighting is corrected. Also placing a block takes a little while to render. This is mainly true when around a large cave system and I suspect that the memory/processing power required for the latest update is simply too much for my iPad 3!
</comment>
