<project id="10200" key="MCPE">Minecraft (Bedrock codebase)</project>

According to the changelog for 1.1.0.3, shearing a melon block is suppose to drop 9 melon slices.

However after further testing, they only seem to drop between 4-7 melon slices instead of 9 as the changelog memtioned.

When I get a chance I may update the wiki (if it allows me to) and link to this page.

I wonder, in which version did it become possible to craft 1 melon block into 9 slices of melon.
It works in in the current version: 1.2.2.3. Just wonder what to put in the wiki.
</comment>
                            <comment id="411522" author="aspergerian" created="Sun, 8 Oct 2017 05:56:23 +0200"  >
@deCoroftheMatter

This is a misunderstanding. The changelog was incorrect.

You were supposed to put a melon block in a crafting grid and convert them into 9 melon slices.

Hope this clears things up.
</comment>
                            <comment id="411521" author="decorofthematter" created="Sun, 8 Oct 2017 05:34:03 +0200"  >
This is still happening in 1.2.2.3. (Harvesting melon with shears drops 3-7 pieces not 9) (I just "sheared" 5 melons and got 3 and 4 from each one)

I thought that it must have changed with the 1.2 bedrock edition but obviously getting more drops using shears to harvest melon was not happening before.
It's listed in the wiki as a bedrock edition exclusive (I guess text "minecraft PE" swapped out to "bedrock edition" after the update):

Source: https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Melon
*Obtaining
Drops*
.. Each melon block normally drops 3–7 melons when broken or pushed by a piston, or 9 melons when broken by shears.[Bedrock Edition only]

History
1.1 build 3 Breaking a melon block with shears now always yields 9 melons.

Should the wiki be updated? Can I just change it as a user? Shouldn't the changelog for 1.1.0.3 also be updated?
Do understand there are many more important bugs tho!
</comment>
