I've noticed this in a slime farm, if you are checking a chest to see what has been collected, it doesn't update. This led me to believe that having more than one hopper going into a chest can trigger the bug.

To reproduce:

Set a line of hoppers going into a chest

Using a dropper and a simple clock, move items into the first hopper

Open the chest to see what items are being moved into it

Usually you can't see the number of items in the chest changing.

Edit: This was on 0.15.10 on Windows 10. I cannot reproduce the same issue in 0.15.90.8 on android.
</comment>
