[MCPE-17308] Villagers not spawning properly

                <project id="10200" key="MCPE">Minecraft (Bedrock codebase)</project>

Can't spawn more than 30 villagers.

I've built over 250 doors, all within one village area. Even, when I add more doors, no more than 30 villagers spawn.

I've also fed them to make them willing.

When one or two dies, only that number in baby villagers spawn again to go back to the 30 villager count. This is also how I know they are already willing. The count just won't go over 30.

This bug goes against the 35% population cap on the wiki.

It takes quite some time for the community (myself included) to make these reports and follow up, and it feels a bit rude that mods falsely mark them as resolved so easily without testing, or at least finding out if the bug has been resolved.

Please keep this open until it is indeed resolved. If you have the title of a mod I believe you should also have the capability to test following the instructions, image, and comments we've taken the time to produce above. Thanks
</comment>

I waited about 1.5 hours for each village size to ensure it was properly detected.

Villager count stayed 30.
</comment>

Based on this ticket, this limit seems to be affecting villagers too, but perhaps it should not. To test, see if spreading out the villagers over more chunks allows them to breed more than 30.
</comment>

I tested with ~150 doors, which should allow the villagers to breed up to ~50 villagers. I noticed that if I spawned 29 villagers (with eggs) then the heart/breeding particles would appear, but as soon as 30 villagers were present, the particles would disappear and the villagers would no longer breed.

You could even just use a naturally generated village, and just add more doors to the houses and/or add more houses, as long as you stay in the max perimeter of the village as specified by the wiki.
