&lt;p&gt;To test, I created a new creative flat world on hard difficulty with cheats enabled.  Started a thunderstorm (/weather thunder) and spawned pigs out of eggs like crazy.  Several were changed to zombie pigmen as expected.  &lt;b&gt;But&lt;/b&gt; when I changed the difficulty to peaceful and the next pig was struck, I saw a zombie skeleton (maybe two) appear and then the game crashed.&lt;/p&gt;</comment>
