If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
</comment>
                            <comment id="21953" author="do" created="Thu, 15 Nov 2012 23:14:54 +0100"  >
So I noticed that something really similar happens if you open the inventory just as you are auto-jumping onto a block... you'll jump up and down until you close the inventory. I'm still not convinced this is really a bug worth fixing, but of course it's not up to me, and it does appear to be a bug, however small...
</comment>
                            <comment id="10544" author="do" created="Wed, 19 Sep 2012 20:15:02 +0200"  >
@Andrew, can you give an example of a situation where this inventory swimming behavior might detract from someone's enjoyment of the game?

In other words, is there ever a case where drowning while looking at your inventory is actually desirable?
</comment>
                            <comment id="10535" author="mrpixelation" created="Wed, 19 Sep 2012 08:47:15 +0200"  >
That should be at the fault of the player that decided to enter their inventory while swimming, just like in the PC Version.
</comment>
                            <comment id="10531" author="bluebirdy17" created="Wed, 19 Sep 2012 05:43:35 +0200"  >
I would hope going into your inventory would somewhat pause your character's actions to avoid drowning and otherwise dying until return from inventory...
</comment>
                            <comment id="10405" author="zchbrntmr" created="Thu, 13 Sep 2012 00:58:29 +0200"  >
Bug or not, I'm not complaining

Also, the same sometimes happens when climbing ladders
</comment>
                            <comment id="10404" author="do" created="Thu, 13 Sep 2012 00:35:06 +0200"  >
You're right, I never noticed that before... maybe it's a bug after all. It's still a useful behavior though... if you want to stay afloat while you look at your inventory, you can move forward or jump while you open it. If you want to drown, you can stop moving before you open it.
</comment>

You need to hold Up/jump when you click the 3 dots. I think its a kind of glitch, not a feature. Like in PC minecraft you used to hold forward and open inventory and your character keeps walking because it got stuck.
</comment>
