<project id="10200" key="MCPE">Minecraft (Bedrock codebase)</project>

I played a lot and I saw something weird: after you sleep, your spawnpoint wouldn't be set near your bed. This is the most important feature of the bed and is not working. And I slept a couple of times and no change of spawnpoint.
I sleep, I die and I spawn at the original spawnpoint not near my not breaked bed. This is the real problem.
</comment>
                            <comment id="288298" author="mega_spud" created="Sun, 21 Feb 2016 16:20:18 +0100"  >
Agreed. Another player described it well: The bed is a temporary spawn point, where you respawn if you die.. The compass will always point to the original point you entered the map. There may be some mods which will allow you to set the location the compass will point to, but by default vanilla gameplay there is currently no way to change the compass heading.
</comment>
                            <comment id="288295" author="drawesome4333" created="Sun, 21 Feb 2016 16:14:15 +0100"  >
If you are referring to the fact that the compass doesn't point towards the bed, that is normal. Sleeping in beds doesn't move spawn point wich the compass points too. The bed simply just makes it so if you die you spawn at the bed instead of spawn point. If it did move spawn point, then if other players died, they would spawn on your bed.
</comment>
