But if I convert it to normal daylight sensor with the same leaf block, it still generates power. Is it normal?
</comment>

As I've seen, the inverted ones worked after a Minecraft day.
</comment>
                            <comment id="263829" author="elkameleon" created="Wed, 11 Nov 2015 06:12:12 +0100"  >
After extensive testing, both to understand how light sensors output power and the power needed to light a lamp (1), this works as intended, just not as you (or I) were expecting. At high noon a sensor outputs a value of 16, while inverted outputs 0. Somewhere in the middle, say at sunset, the output becomes the same whether inverted or not, and since the lamp only requires one power unit to light, it appears to be unaffected by the inversion.
</comment>

Only one light turned off whilet the others remained lit. (The far right one turned off for half a second before coming back on on its own) These tests were in creative flat always day.
</comment>
