[MCPE-11253] Fish do not approach bobber when fishing

                <project id="10200" key="MCPE">Minecraft (Bedrock codebase)</project>

OK, so I got mcpe 0.11.0 a couple of months ago and I was fishing, and I could actually collect fish in that version...BUT, whenever MCPE 0.12.0 came out, I couldn't fish anymore. I can't show a screenshot of it because of technical computer reasons, but Heres what it does:

The bobber bobs up and down repeatily too fast but yet it dosen't even collect any fish! One time, I waited 40 minutes nonstop trying to collect fish but the bobber just kept on doing the same thing. I had this annoying bug ever since 0.12.0 came out and it's still here in MCPE 0.12.3

Also, my Device is a Android - RCA Voyager 7. But sadly, they don't have my device in the list so I'm just going to pick a random device, even though thats not really my device. so sorry for the confusion...

If anyone out here in this whole bug forum database has my exact device and has mcpe 0.12.3 on it, then please say something to me about it because I feel like I'm the only one with this Bug.

Please fix this Mojang/MCPEDevs because I want to be reunited with my glorious fishing rod companion!

there is a bug maybe in that new feature for me and who knows how many other people with my device. Do MojangAB have a RCA Voyager 7 Tablet? If not, then maybe you guys should buy one. they have them at Walmart for just,what? $40-$50 Dollars range. try doing some experimenting on the tablet and see if that bug is on their too.

And, for fancy graphics and animate water I have them ON but tonight I will try experimenting on them too, maybe if i turn off fancy graphics or animate water it will help but I honestly doubt it...
</comment>
                            <comment id="260844" author="rplatham" created="Mon, 2 Nov 2015 03:49:04 +0100"  >
Hey PaliceneUltraX, have you tried fishing in a new creative world? Also have you tried making a new fishing rod in your old 0.11 world?

The bobber bouncing up and down rapidly seems to be a new feature. There is some debate about how fast it should be bouncing. The best way to trigger fish is still the approaching bubbles and the splash noise. Turn up your volume to listen for the splash noise too.

What setting do you have for fancy graphics and animate water?
</comment>
                            <comment id="260839" author="paliceneultrax" created="Mon, 2 Nov 2015 03:27:51 +0100"  >
+AMAN,

I don't know... It will let me hit the fish button butn it repeatily keeps on going up and down and it dosen't even makes any bubbles when its in the water (Forgot to add that part, sorry)
</comment>
