[MCPE-11106] Cannot craft torches on 2x2, and on crafting table they appear in hotbar but not in inventory.

                <project id="10200" key="MCPE">Minecraft (Bedrock codebase)</project>

When I craft torches on the 2x2 or 3x3, my ingredients are taken away but I get no torches. Sometimes, it shows a massive amount of torches in the hotbar (the ones I have attempted to craft), which disappear from the inventory when I switch them for another item. All of the other times, I see nothing, except for my stuff disappearing.

                            <comment id="256627" author="rplatham" created="Tue, 20 Oct 2015 14:47:09 +0200"  >
This is a known bug that affects a lot more than torches xD. See <del>MCPE-9960</del>.

Basically, MCEP-9960 is a bug (it happens all the time) where you can accidentally over fill your inventory and some stacks of items go "invisible". In your case, there's a stack of invisible torches.

Some stacks can be recovered, but only if they are incomplete stacks. To recover them, pick up 1 of that item when you have an empty slot in inventory and no incomplete stacks of that item in your inventory. The invisible stack plus the one you picked up should become visible again.

If your invisible stack is a complete stack, say torches in your case, you need to make the invisible stack incomplete before that fix works. To do so, drop all your torches, grab a pumpkin and craft a jack o' lantern. (Yes you can craft with your invisible inventory!) now your invisible torches stack is incomplete (63 of 64) so go pickup 1 (only one!) torch and you'll have a stack of 64.

I've not found a method to recover complete stacks of blocks that you cannot craft with (or otherwise consume in a GUI) - for example any non-wooden stairs or slabs (wooden ones appear when you are in the furnace), bedrock, buckets, dirt, bricks, there are lots of others.
</comment>
