[MCPE-10710] No mobs spawned in the nether!

                <project id="10200" key="MCPE">Minecraft (Bedrock codebase)</project>

Just now, I went to the nether in creative (Before I went in I set the difficulty to peaceful and then set back to normal, after I set it back to normal I went to the nether). And I found nothing spawned like ghasts, pigmen, etc.

What I expected to happen was...:
The nether would have some pigmen and ghast.

What actually happened was...:
Instead, nothing spawned and I'm alone.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Before going to nether, set to peaceful and then set to normal.
2. Go in the nether.
3. Notice that nothing spawned. How I'm supposed to have fun in the nether now? (Note: It doesn't always happens)

After wondering for about a half hour, I did eventually find one ghast, but still no magmas / skeletons / wither skeletons. Just zombie pigmen.

Difficulty is set to hard (next to hardest setting).

Am I possibly corrupting my worlds? Is copy/pasting the directory still an acceptable method of backup, or might this contribute to the issue?
</comment>

It will take me a while to get back to the nether starting from scratch.
</comment>

New monsters (blazes and wither skeletons in/around nether fortresses, zombie pigman, magma cubes and ghasts everywhere else) continue to spawn following the death of the formers.
</comment>
                            <comment id="255238" author="d4n13" created="Wed, 14 Oct 2015 14:31:03 +0200"  >
I can confirm on Android 0.12.1 / 0.12.2 (nexus 5). My world was always survival, but the nether was first rendered when difficulty was EASY (not peaceful). I went to the nether and found wither, skeletons, magmas, ghasts, and blazes in two working blaze spawners. I went about building my structures in the nether killing all hostile mobs I found. Eventually all that was left is zombie pigmen. No new hostile mobs spawned (except blazes in spawners). I have now set the difficulty to NORMAL and found one magma spawn, but nothing since. Played probably 3 hours in the nether over many many chunks.
</comment>
