If they ever plan on adding something like horses, regardless of whether or not they have cross-compatibility, the jump and dismount keys would conflict.
Unless you want people to get used to the wrong key, when there is even a remote possibility that you might change it, or you have people going from the 'old' platform to the 'new', you probably want to bind it correctly the first time. (Stuff like that makes old players not want to play the new game). Hence why I am calling this a 'bug'.
</comment>

Instead people had some good theories that eventually Windows 10 will replace pc. Here's a video.
It's also very inconvenient if you're swimming to your boat and try to ride it (since you have to hold SPACEBAR to swim). Another issue is that the dismount message is "Slow down to exit the boat", and says NOTHING about using SPACEBAR.
</comment>
                            <comment id="268950" author="rplatham" created="Sat, 28 Nov 2015 21:29:33 +0100"  >
I'm confused. In 0.13.0, the keyboard key to press to leave a boat is SPACEBAR. Is that the correct binding, or is this bug suggesting it should be LSHIFT for consistency with MC:PC?
