[MC-967] No fall damage when quit and re-enter the game.

                <project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

I was inspecting a ravine from above, when a creeper came up behind me. The creeper explodes and I started to fall into the ravine. In shock, I paused the game and quit to menu. When I re-enter to that world, I was prepared to die for the fall damage. But no. I get alive, with the health bar full.

What I expected to happen was...:
I should die with the fall damage.

What actually happened was...:
When I re-enter the world, I don't die.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a high place.
2. Throw yourself.
3. Quit the game.
4. Re-enter the game.
5. You will see that there is no fall damage.

Sorry for my bad english, I am from Argentina.

Can this be duplicated in SMP?
</comment>
