[MC-8634] Redstone Signal Not Affecting X-shaped Rail Arrangements

                <project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

An active redstone signal does not effect the direction of the center rail in an X-shaped rail arrangement.

Note: Two differing curve arrangements would not be sufficient for full functionality in this situation, therefore a new solution may be required if this issue is to be addressed.

"The curved section of a rail at T intersections can be powered by redstone circuits and their direction can change with switches provided there is no confusion about the 2 directions to switch to." An x-shaped rail has 4 diferrent ways to change direction, this is why it's not working.
</comment>
                            <comment id="40816" author="sonicboom77" created="Tue, 29 Jan 2013 01:02:19 +0100"  >
I don't think it's a bug, I think it's the same direction because you used a redstone torch. The lever wouldn't affect the redstone torch because it thinks it's sending a signal to the lever, not the other way round. So the redstone torch will stay turned on because it cannot be de-powered in this manner. So it will always send the signal to track the same way because it is not affected. I'm 99.9% sure of this. Also, if you want to know who I am, I'll just say that I am the person who posted a bug before you AND after you. I just decided to see what bug was in between my two ones.
</comment>
