[MC-766] Left Click Not Working

                <project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

Running Windows 7, Java fully updated. No texture packs or mods running. The left click (Button 1) is not working on either single player or multiplayer, regardless of survival or creative mode. I can't pick things up out of my inventory without right clicking, which divides things in half and places things one at a time, so picking up whole stacks is impossible.

I've tried uninstall/reinstall but it didn't work. This was not an issue before the 1.4.2 update.

What I did try was setting pick block to my "command" key (on mac), and now the left-click seems to be working, at least on survival, singleplayer (have not yet tested in on other modes). Doesn't seem like the most suitable fix, but at least I can play now.

Shaunna--what happens when you try setting pick block as any other key? Just curious.
</comment>

I can still place blocks, just not remove or destroy them.

(This is using Windows XP, latest version of Java, using HDPatcher, and no mods installed.)
</comment>

It seems to be caused by having attack set to anything other than left click. I can get around it and play the game by making left click attack, but it still drives me crazy because I can't use my custom key arrangement.
</comment>

I also have no mods running, nor texturepacks. The left click (Button 1) is not working at all. I can't pick things up out of my inventory using left click. Right-click (double-click for mac) does divide stacks in half and places things one at a time, so agreed – picking up whole stacks or one item at a time is impossible. When I revert back to the prior update, it works fine.
</comment>
