<project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

When using the /give command to give yourself a monster spawner, the game will crash. I have tested this in Minecraft 1.4.7 and Snapshot 13w01b, and the crash does not occur. I was giving myself a spawner to test hints given on Dinnerbone's twitter.

As far as my experience, it occurred due to picking up the Monster Spawner item. The bug I am apparently duplicating pertains to fire in an item frame. I could not have made such a connection. Are you sure that this is a duplication of that bug? I can understand if they both pertain to the same code, but the only consistency I am seeing at the moment is the /give comment. Similarly, Monster Spawners are ID 52 and Fire is apparently 51. Could someone specify the relation between these two bugs?

Edit: I gave myself fire and was met with a similar crash to what I was experiencing from Monster Spawners. While I can not draw the connection, I assume they are. I suppose they will be collectively fixed, then. I will return if this fails to be corrected.
</comment>
