<project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

There is a problem with the hopper. Ussualy it duplicates the clock item when you throw it in the hopper

Mod edit by Mustek

Clear details: Happens on all items that land on the edge of the hopper. It's not specific to clocks or hoppers on chests. <ins>This has been fixed for the next snapshot</ins>

It's NOT : This issue is declared "Fixed" and it's NOT. The same bug can be reproduced with All 1.8 snapshots. Thanks for really Reading the content of the reports, when the title clearly indicates an Error from the bug tracking. Good evening.

EDIT : Thanks for your answer Tails, I can't wait for this bug to be finally definitely fixed... Will this one be fixed for 1.8 ?
</comment>

I've been able to replicate this in 1.5.1, but I haven't tried the recent snapshots yet. This issue may require a new bug report, since it seems to be an issue unrelated to the current <del>MC-5998</del>.
</comment>

I.e. I have one piece of glowstone dust sitting in the hopper, and it is not being transferred to the trapped chest, but when I look in the trapped chest, it is slowly filling with glowstone dust as if the hopper were constantly feeding it.
</comment>

I built a redstone circuit circle with a delay of 2 redstone ticks and let that fire a dispenser. Also sometimes it picks a stack from above but that stack does not disappear then.

if the item is nonstackable, then the hopper duplicates it until the hopper (or a container underneath) is full
</comment>
                            <comment id="32699" author="begbertbiggs" created="Fri, 4 Jan 2013 15:17:58 +0100"  >
I tried it and it added one item to the number of items thrown into the Hopper, if you put in on a chest and take the items out of the chest. May work by taking the items from a the hopper or a dispeser/furnace/... too. Works with any item I tested it and in 13w01b. Sry for bad English.
Edit: I'm uploading a video to YT atm, will be up in some minutes: http://youtu.be/8ZLwrSCsef4
</comment>
