[MC-5958] Blowing up chest or trapped chest while looking inside it causes crash.

                <project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

I was testing out the new trapped chests so I placed a diamond in it, placed TNT next to it and opened the chest, I heard the sizzle then, I took the diamond out and suddenly the game froze for a few seconds and I was presented with a crash report. This was in a default world played in 1.3.2 - 1.4.6.

Sorry if this is a duplicate but when I searched I only found relations to this crash.
Edit: after more searching I found a fixed issue like this so this is a duplicate. (I forgot to keyword 'chest' because I didn't exactly know what was causing the crash at first)
