[MC-5108] Firework explosions do not appear

                <project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

I just updated to 1.4.6 and I made some firework rockets. When I launched them, they made the explosion sound but the explosion is not visible. I tried several variations.(The white trail the rocket leaves as it flies up does appear)

When I first tried fireworks in the snapshot, they worked fine.

PS: why isnt the rocket in the creative menu?

Any texture pack issues need to be addressed to the texture pack creator.

I tried to use someone elses texture pack, and fireworks do appear with that one. but when i select my own texture pack, they dont appear. Is my texture pack missing some files?
</comment>

As I already said, I crafted my own star and I used many variations (colors, burst, trail, twinkle, large ball, star shape, head shape......) and none of them were visible.
</comment>

and i dont see why the star is in the creative menu but the rocket is not. In the snapshot the rocket you got from the creative menu was just a basic rocket.
</comment>

Did you craft your own star or did you use the one in the creative inventory?
</comment>
