I disabled the texturepack in minecraft itself but there was still a particles.png in the same folder as the application that was overwriting the default textures.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;For the fireworks, I crafted gunpowder + dye (any color) and then put the result of that with paper and another gunpowder.&lt;/p&gt;</comment>

It flies up into the air like it&apos;s supposed to, but disappears as soon as the explosion sound plays.&lt;/p&gt;
