[MC-4621] Explosion-Type Bug

                <project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

The summary was very hard to name, mostly because I have no idea how this happened, or why.

I used to have a house on top of this ravine and a secret area under it. I hid the trapdoor leading to the secret area under a jukebox. Everything used to work just fine, but I tried to do it recently in 12w50a (still not even sure if this is the cause) and when I broke the jukebox, (in creative) the game crashed, I was sent out of the game, came back, and THIS was there.

It's as if that certain area of the game was sent back in time, or caused some sort of explosion (because it messed up some of the houses nearby) because I think this is what the area looked like before I built there.

Very strange, and I'm still confused.

It doesn't seem to be caused by jukeboxes, because I tried placing one down and breaking it and nothing happened. Also didn't back up my files so now it's just gone and I have to rebuild :c

(By the way, the tree just appeared there. There was a sidewalk there before and some streetlamps)

No idea how to recreate this, sorry.

Also I looked back at my MCPatcher and realized it was outdated.

I bet my stupid ass was the cause of the problem, wasn't it?
</comment>
                            <comment id="28286" author="cubethethird" created="Fri, 14 Dec 2012 04:38:07 +0100"  >
Personally I would recommend using Optifine instead for HD textures.
</comment>

Where edits occur is room for error.

Because it hasn't changed much in minecraft.jar, the effects of it may not be THAT noticeable.

At any chance, would you know why MCPatcher caused that? It's never done it before, and it's always worked before.
</comment>
                            <comment id="28280" author="cubethethird" created="Fri, 14 Dec 2012 04:15:14 +0100"  >
Yes it would be MCPatcher that would cause the problem. I highly doubt that the texture pack itself would pose to be an issue. If it be any comfort, 1.5 will fully support HD textures without the use of any mods.
</comment>
                            <comment id="28279" author="austin0331" created="Fri, 14 Dec 2012 04:11:54 +0100"  >
Oh, I didn't know that. Sorry.

But still, would using texture packs actually cause a problem like this? I can't imagine it could.

Would it possibly be the MCPatcher that I used that's required for the texture pack?
</comment>

The crash report at the bottom says it's modded for some reason. The only things I've done is use texture packs. Please don't drop this bug, this could really mess up some people's games.
</comment>
