                    <description>&lt;p&gt;Once I updated to OSX 10.8 Some audio does not function correctly. Most noticeable is item pickups. Sound does not always play or is very faint. Torch placement seems muffled as well. There may be other sounds not working but I&apos;m not sure it&apos;s been months since I have played without Mountain Lion.&lt;/p&gt;

There is a problem with minecrafts hooks into system audio. It is a problem that needs to be addressed and is specific to Minecraft and it&apos;s behavior with a newer operating system. &lt;/p&gt;</comment>
