except that u could travel faster u could also pass through redstone circuits instead of destroyng them.I cant think any reason y it shouldnt work
</comment>

The players can only make educated guesses. I've yet to see an explanation for why the developers want it to work that way, but the code makes it pretty clear that Ender Pearls cannot be used in creative.
</comment>

This works in the XBOX edition, and there is no reason why it shouldn't work in the Computer version. There is no reason why ender pearls should not be used in creative mode.
</comment>

In creative mode you're supposed to go beyond the survival game and be creative, how can you exploit in the mode that should allow you to do anything?
</comment>

                            <comment id="27762" author="fuj1n" created="Tue, 11 Dec 2012 13:10:27 +0100"  >
This is a feature, in creative you can't really take damage, the ender pearls were programmed to serve damage to the player when they are used, this behavior prevents all sorts of exploits.
</comment>
                            <comment id="14857" author="simons mith" created="Sun, 28 Oct 2012 23:55:20 +0100"  >
So, what should we do if we would like to see this issue addressed, so that Ender Pearls /do/ work in creative? Where should we complain/ask? A feature request on this tracker?
</comment>

                            <comment id="13296" author="sciguyryan" created="Thu, 25 Oct 2012 17:58:27 +0200"  >
This is intended behaviour. The code explicitly checks if the user is in creative mode and then does not allow its use if that is the case.

I don't know if there is a reason why this is the case but maybe someone knows why.
</comment>
