[MC-4331] Chat error, stuck key. Only on Mac OS X

                <project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

I have my system set up a certain way. To change desktops, I use [CMD]+Arrow.

When I do this, it fools Minecraft into thinking that the [Control] key is held down in chat. Every backspace or chat navigation is then done word+by+word until the application is fullscreened.

I think it could be resolved if MC would send the signal to release the CTRL key upon opening the chat. However, that doesn't fix other issues caused by the CTRL key not being read as released (such as dropping stacks of items)
</comment>

If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
</comment>

Most mac users have this setup, as it gives more workspace - until I read this report, I was unsure what had caused this, thought it was just a 'standard' Mac bug from the start.
</comment>
