[MC-4072] In game map item artifacting

                <project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

When exploring using the map item, areas that have been explored recently look fine until I venture away from them. As I venture away, lines appear over some areas (mostly seen in snow).

Again, renders fine when I'm on top of the target area, lines appear as a venture away!

It's really annoying and makes the map look ugly. Really bothering me.

Thanks guys, you all rock!!!! -Cody

I would still urge someone to look at this case as many servers nerf the view distance to gain extra performance but otherwise, the issue is not with vanilla MC.
</comment>
