<project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

Whenever I right click to use an item over left click to mine a block (or for any other reason), the movement of my player stops until I press the directional button again. Basically, continuous player movement (flying also) is interrupted by clicking.

It is already known that the newest version of LWJGL causes issues. It is however good to know that this causes mouse problems.
</comment>
                            <comment id="24736" author="spencerws" created="Sun, 25 Nov 2012 06:20:16 +0100"  >
Should I include any computer info that would be helpful for this? I'll just report the bug to java and use 2.8.4.
</comment>
                            <comment id="24735" author="spencerws" created="Sun, 25 Nov 2012 06:19:03 +0100"  >
I did find a problem. Changing the LWJGL to 2.8.5 is the sole cause of the bug (tried new copy of minecraft 1.4.5 and changed only LWJGL from 2.4.2 to 2.8.5, and problem started. 2.8.4 works so far.) Aargh, it took two+ hours and a entire client replacement to discover a one minute solution to the bug
</comment>

                            <comment id="24728" author="spencerws" created="Sun, 25 Nov 2012 05:13:16 +0100"  >
With a COMPLETELY fresh download of minecraft 1.4.5, the movement is fine. I have to test further so see if any mods are responsible for the bug after being loaded. However, the original download of minecraft 1.4.5 (downloaded less than a week ago) IS still bugged, EVEN with all mods removed and jar files restored! This is weird. At least my mouse is not the problem.
</comment>

                            <comment id="24721" author="cubethethird" created="Sun, 25 Nov 2012 04:33:35 +0100"  >
Unfortunately this means it is not a bug with minecraft. Either your mouse or your system prevents key presses at the same time as mouse clicks. You will have to try to update the driver of the mouse, or edit settings for it (or possibly your system). If your computer has a trackpad it is also possible that its driver causes the problem. Care to share information about your mouse and keyboard/laptop for future reference?
</comment>
                            <comment id="24720" author="spencerws" created="Sun, 25 Nov 2012 04:31:43 +0100"  >
Oops, movement does work in 1.4.5 vanilla. Please delete this or something- a mod or flash port is likely to account for this error, so I need no assistance here.
</comment>
                            <comment id="24715" author="spencerws" created="Sun, 25 Nov 2012 04:19:47 +0100"  >
I tried clicking while holding down a letter key while the mouse was installed in each of the computer's three ports, and all clicks stopped the sequence. Additionally, the letters could not be typed until after the click was released. (I'm not sure if this comparison is valid, I used microsoft word and I expected to see this result.)
</comment>
                            <comment id="24712" author="cubethethird" created="Sun, 25 Nov 2012 04:09:57 +0100"  >
It might be possible that the driver for the mouse needs to be installed/updated/removed or a setting changed, as it could be potentially causing a conflict. If you open a text processor, hold down a letter key, and then left click, does the typing stop?
</comment>
