[MC-3734] Can no longer walk in gaps between diagonally arranged cobblestone walls

                <project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

From 1.4 to 1.4.2, in any game mode, you were able to walk between the gap created between diagonally arranged stone walls:

#..    ..#
...    ...
..# or #..

But in 1.4.4 and 1.4.5 you can't do that anymore. Is that by design or was that an unintended effect?

You've classified this as "Works as intended"; so whom from Mojang stated this?

You're correct in saying that there are work-arounds with using wooden fences in the same arrangement, though I don't totally agree that we're "too fat" to fit between the diagonal gap. But as this isn't a game breaker for me, I'll still be happily playing MC.

I am glad that you have given some feedback and looked into this issue. Thanks for your time.
</comment>

The player is simply to fat to fit in between the cobblestone walls.
It's possible to walk through the slightly wider gap of cobblestone wall / fence (at the right of the screenshot) and of course through fence / fence.
Smaller mobs like chicken and ocelots still can walk trough the cobblestone wall gaps.
</comment>

I meant the cobblestone walls that you can craft, not the smooth stone blocks. With the corners arranged opposite one another diagonally, you can no longer walk between the gap.

I am not able to provide a screenshot at this time (at work).
</comment>
