<project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

So i wanted to use redstone for the first time. i wanted to make florlighing. So i placed some redstone under the lamps and powered it.
but it didnt work. i consider this as a bug.

What I expected to happen was...:
the lighting would go on.

What actually happened was...:
the light stayed off.

Steps to Reproduce:
Redstone wires never power the block above - only redstone torches do so. Read on here http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Redstone_Lamp ("A redstone lamp will light if it is powered, or if it is next to a powered (solid) block. Levers can be directly placed onto lamps to power them.") and http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Redstone_circuits
</comment>
