[MC-1867] Double sound for fall damage

                <project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

When receiving fall damage, two sounds will play, the fall damage sounds (plays when you land painfully) and the normal damage sound (this plays when you actually take the damage)

What I expected:

Just the fall damage sound to play.

What Happened:

The normal damage sound plays a fraction of a second after the fall sound.

This is more noticeable on servers because of the sight ping delay.

This didn't happen in 1.4.2 or bellow.
Sorry I couldn't provide a video, my screen recorder can't record sounds.

In multiplayer it is more noticeable because there is more delay. You fall hear the 'thump' then the 'crack' when you actually take the damage, of course there aren't supposed to be two sounds and the regular pain sound isn't supposed to play for falls. Beacause single-player has a internal server already running it will always act as multiplayer so it really doesn't matter which way you play.
</comment>
                            <comment id="27128" author="xmoe" created="Sat, 8 Dec 2012 12:09:53 +0100"  >
DId you test in in MP or in your local LAN MP? Because in the LAN, your hear the damage sound from both clients open, that could be it.
</comment>

And the server sounds differ to the client's. Depending on your ping the two sounds will play at a different time.
</comment>
                            <comment id="21860" author="dlminecr" created="Thu, 15 Nov 2012 19:57:10 +0100"  >
No that's not what I mean. Just test it out 1.4.2 them 1.4.3 pre the sounds are different. Not sure about 1.4.4. And the sound from 1.3.2 is one long sound instead of a double short sound.
</comment>
