[MC-11070] Furnace deletes items and fuel randomly

                <project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

Randomly furnaces delte all containing items while smelting, keeping the furnace in the active state.

I'm using hoppers to fill the furnace with items and fuel (top/side) and to get the smelted items out of the furnace (bottom).
After adding fuel and items through the hoppers they start smelting as supposed but randomly at some point the furnace deletes all items in it, leaving it active. This happens in single player and multiplayer, independent of creative or surival.

This Bugs happend for me since I started using the snapshots with version 13w09c and still exists after updating to 13w10a which should include an patch for some bugs with furnaces.

Because it isn't always happening I wan't able to get much more detail about the bug. However I was mainly using blaze rods in the furnace as fuel and different items to smelt if this changes things.
The screenshot shows my setup I did in creative Singleplayer to try automating furnaces and is the setup I noticed it first. The setup in my surival Multiplayer is pretty much the same but it also happend with just two furnaces and hoppers connected to them.

However, if you had read the comments for <del>MC-8022</del> and had taken a look at the ticket's transitions, you would have found out that the problem still occurs in 13w10a but should also finally be fixed in the next snapshot. So my recommendation is to wait for 13w10b, check if it was actually fixed there and then ask for reopening this ticket.
</comment>
                            <comment id="50250" author="endermantv" created="Wed, 6 Mar 2013 10:56:11 +0100"  >
13w10a release still has this bug. I think this ticket is valid and shouldn't mark as duplicate.Since <del>MC-8022</del> is in last version (13w09c)and marked as fixed. But this bug occur in 13w10a which isn't the same bug.
</comment>

                            <comment id="50072" author="colacheater" created="Tue, 5 Mar 2013 19:09:55 +0100"  >
My bad if this really is connected to the linked Bug but the changelog of 13w10a said it would include the fix for this bug and as said this isn't fixed in it.
If this bug now is "really" fixed and includes the fix of my bug it's good. But as written this has nothing to do with shift-clicking, interface closing or comperators which are the reasons I found described in the linked Bug.
</comment>
