<project id="10400" key="MC">Minecraft: Java Edition</project>

Minecraft Snooper Settings will not detect if you are running a mod on your client, the snooper settings will always say vanilla.

To Reproduce:
1. install a mod on your client
2. launch minecraft
3. click on options -> snooper settings
4. look at the part that tells you the client type
5. Even while running a mod it will say vanilla

It matters nothing in the grand scheme of things. It is for things like Forge who want to 'show' they are being used.
</comment>

Forge does, modloader might. It might be useful if they had a "modded" field in the snooper, but that's up to them whether or not they consider it useful.
</comment>
