My minecraft main login screen has like a texture error in it & every time I had tryed to login it said I didn't have connection to minecraft.net but I get the news feed I figured out that this was caused by the stupidest reason, The user I was running minecraft from had "!" in it so something happened with the file path between the launcher on my desktop and the jar file so i had to relocate the file into my users so every one on my computer can access it, so it would launch I had no way to play minecraft for about 4 months :/ and it just plain out pissed me the hell off when I found out the of error, it was so annoying to realize that it was the file path because I had tryed so much I got it working once but then the next day it reverted and I had forgoten what I did TT_TT

                <environment>I just launched minecraft and it was caused by the name of the USER I was logged in as</environment>

Minecraft didn't run, if you had the launcher in

C:\Users\!whatever\Desktop

and the jars in

C:\Users\!whatever\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft

But it does run, as you moved the launcher also in

C:\Users\!whatever\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft

Correct ?

What was the excact error message ?
</comment>
