&lt;p&gt;I&apos;ve also not been able to replicate this (I realise it was a while ago and may have been fixed in the interim). As long as the you have everything set correctly, any world will work on a server, existing or not.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You need to copy the map from this directory, then put it in the worlds folder on the server:&lt;/p&gt;
