[BDS-5001] Server detecting two different accounts as the same account

                <project id="11700" key="BDS">Bedrock Dedicated Server</project>

I started up a new bedrock server today on a pc running Ubuntu Server 20.04. I got everything set up and running fine, then tried to get my wife in on the game as well. When either of us is in and the other tries to join, we get an error saying "Cannot join world. The account you are signed in to is currently playing in this world on a different device." We are both playing on mobile, me on Android and she on iPhone, and we are both signed in to our own MIcrosoft Accounts.

-<del>update</del>

It appears that we can both play on a brand new server until one of us gets out of the game. After trying to get back in the error occurs.

This occurs with whatever users get on the game. My sister just tried to get on with her account and is receiving the same error. Perhaps users are being assigned the same ID on login or something?

That shouldn't be the error that shows in the console. Ubuntu works, I have a test server running so there's likely something unique to your setup.

Windows is a better option in general at the moment, Linux has some serious performance issues in 1.14 (<del>BDS-2574</del>) but if you would like to get Linux working I would need the info from above.

The account you are signed in to is currently playing in this world on a different device" shows up in the console. I switched to running the server on windows to see if the error still occurred and there's no problem with it. The error must only be with the Ubuntu version. I'd really like to switch back to the Ubuntu version though.
</comment>

What are you seeing on the console? Are you running the server in Online mode?
