[BDS-19511] Days goes on even if no one is on server

                <project id="11700" key="BDS">Bedrock Dedicated Server</project>

When the server consists Zero players, for some reason, the days still go on even though no one is on the server and no one is generating any chunks. This is very annoying as it seems that we have been playing for many Minecraft days and some people also need the correct day count for their own personal use.

Forexample, if i leave the server on day 100 and come back the next day after a whole night, it will be day 168. Well if the server is closed then the days stop. this is different as compared to minecraft java edition where the day count stop as soon as you leave the server. there are probably some chunks that stay active even if i leave my server.
</comment>
                            <comment id="1340859" author="umija5895" created="Tue, 23 Jul 2024 18:51:07 +0200"  >
What kind of "server" are you using (Realm, BDS, etc)? For realms at least, the server will continue to run for a short time to make rejoins faster.
Individual player time should be tracked separately from server time, so it is not clear why this might actually be an issue.

This report has been temporarily resolved as Awaiting Response. It will automatically reopen when you comment with new information. Please provide all requested information. Reports that do not contain enough information may be closed as Incomplete.

Many players find this Bug Report Creation Form useful for filling in all helpful information.
</comment>
