[BDS-10052] 1.16.100.4 on Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS silently loses players

                <project id="11700" key="BDS">Bedrock Dedicated Server</project>

I'm not even sure exactly what's going wrong, but it appears that BDS 1.16.100.4 on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS with all the latest updates keeps losing the connections to any clients. The BDS console doesn't show any disconnection, and the client appears to keep working, but you can't access the inventory and no changes made to the world are permanent. Restarting BDS and reconnecting fixes it...for a little while. Then it recurs.

I don't know what further info I can give since there are no logs I can find.

Hmm... time for testing. I wish Mojang would give us some sort of status updates!
</comment>

It will crash often and sometimes will not even connect. I am running on a QNAP NAS and thought that was issue but apparently not. Previous build of 1.16.40 did not have this issue at all.

I thought it could have been a problem with the VSS writer, but it's not. It's definitely some sort of BDS bug. Never seen anything like it, and have been running BDS for around a year.
</comment>
