This ticket has been resolved as 'Cannot Reproduce' as it has not been updated recently (1 year+)

Please respond and add the current version if you can reproduce this issue.

Added 0.15.0 Beta build 1 to the affected version per MCPE-14937. This sounds rather odd though.

This bug is NOT resolved.

We just lost the whole afternoon worth of building (relocating the fence surrounding the animals, crafting maps, and so on) in 0.15 build 1.

The game crashed, we looked back into it - nothing near to spawn has been saved. All is reverted to the start of the session.

0.15 build 1 changelog:
Fixed a couple of bugs causing data to be lost or world corruption

Should be fixed in that version.

Did this happen when MCPE crashed? Also does this still affect 0.14.2?

Comment by Christian [ 16/May/16 ]

logcat retrieved from android phone after server crashed, containing stacktraces.

Still appears in 0.14.1

This bug is massively interferring with our world & our fun playing this game.
We're playing multiplayer, hosting it on a dedicated "server phone"

From time to time, MCPE crashes on the server - no big issue by itself.

The huge problem is, that very often when MCPE crashes work done to the world in the last minutes/hours is lost.

The inventory is very often more or less up-to-date, but changes to blocks/entities are not updated.

It seems, this is more likely to happen to "active" chunks (where we all are actively moving). Changes to farther away chunks are saved.

(e.g. temples we searched and raided stayed raided, but our chests at home, where we collected the loot were unsaved... The loot was effectively lost)

Please add an option to flush the world to "disk" at regular intervals. (I'm aware that that may have influence on performance. But Performance is less important than reliability and fun)

Thanks.

Does this bug still appear in 0.13.1? If so please respond.

I might try a new world. But having lost a lot of mined and found stuff in survival mode which is all I play. I'm wondering if I didn't waste my money on this. At this point. I would recommend to everyone I know, not to get this game.

Now I'm seeing more stuff going missing. I've lost all the animals out of two pens that I created, inside of a closed structure. I don't see how they could of left other than a bug in the game.

They better fix this because I am tried of this happing to me! Affects 0.11.1 too!
