If you hold meat in your hand and hover over a wolf, the feed interact button never appears and you must resort to tapping and holding.

Thanks Luke. I understand, but I was not very clear in my earlier comment. This still works as intended. Feeding a wolf is the same interaction as when you feed a cow grain, a chicken seeds a pig a carrot, etc. All these interactions cause the animal to enter breeding mode. As expected, no feed/breed button is displayed and you must tap and hold to cause this interaction to occur. It is only once tamed that these buttons appear for your tamed wolves (dogs).

This what I mean. An interact button never appears to feed/breed the wolf. Instead, you must tap and hold.

Luke, I think this works as intended. I don't think you can feed wolves until you tame them. When you tap and hold you are putting the wolf into breeding mode.

Note that this is a wolf and not a dog.
