 Description

Minecraft: PE doesn't currently support Android TV which include devices such as the Nexus Player, Nvidia Shield Player, and Razr Android TV. Updating it to support Android TV shouldn't be too complicated as the game already uses controller like on-screen controls. The game basically needs support for controllers (Bluetooth as well as USB) and possibly remotes such as the ones includes with the Nexus Player (although this might be hard and not a requirement). In addition to controls it needs a banner added to show on the Android TV Leanback Launcher as well as declaring that it is Android TV Compatible. Cloud game saves would also be a huge advantage to be able to play your same world on your phone or tablet in addition to your Android TV device. Here is a check list of requirements to bring Minecraft: PE up to Android TV compatibility.
