 Description

"Invalid name" error message when attempting to connect iPhone 6, 8.2, 0.11.1 to iPad Air 1, 8.1, 0.11.1 worlds.

Overall, this update was the worst for our old iPad1 (totally unplayable with new update, already submitted bug) and new devices (can't connect with each other with this bug). Would revert back to old version if given the choice.

Cleaning up all old issues, please reply if affects 0.12.1

The world name should allow spaces in multiplayer; it does not appear to be referenced by the client.

Comment by Adam Stevens [ 21/Jun/15 ]

Just found out on my own that the world name AND the username can't have any spaces in them

Just created a new world on the above iPad using the suggested parameters. Still getting the invalid name error and not able to sync the iPhone to the iPad world. This update is the worst.

Confirmed on Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Android 5.0. An ipod 4 tried to join on my world and this happened.

That did help. Thanks!! It would be nice to have that clarification written down next to the "invalid name" error. Ours was due to a simple space between a two-name world.
